RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing a fifteen (15) year
contract with a concessionaire for the Civic Center Complex; and,
WHEREAS, S & S Food Distribution Corporation of Port Neches, Texas,
submitted a bid in the amounts stated hereinbelow with the following
percentages of sales to be paid to the City monthly for the Civic Center
Culex; and,
and,
Tobacco 10%
Catering & Restaurant 12%
Beer, Wine &.Liquor 25%
Concession Food 25%
vending Machines 50% Net
Novelties . 50% Net
All Other Sales 25%
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by S & S Food Distribution Corporation of Port Neches, Texas, is the best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of S & S Food Distribution Corporation in the amounts as
hereinabove stated be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager
be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a 15 year contract with S & S
Food Distribution Corporation as concessionaire for the Civic Center Complex.
