WIEREA.S, bids were received for furnishing periodical subscriptions
for the Beaumont, Public Library; and,
WMREA.S, McGregor Magazine Agency submitted a bid in the amount of
Two Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty -Six and 52/100 ($2,766.52) Dollars for
said periodical subscriptions for_the.Beaumont Public Library; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by McGregor Magazine Agency is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE,'BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMCNT:
THAT the bid of McGregor Magazine Agency in the amount of $2,776.52 be
accepted by the'City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is
hereby authorized.to make payment for said periodical subscriptions.
