RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing reef oyster shell for
various City Departments;. and,
WHEREAS, Keown Supply Company submitted a bid in the amount of
$5.45 per cubic yard with no increase for a.six-month period beginning
December 9, 1976, and ending June 8, 1977, for said reef oyster shell for
various City Departments; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council.. is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Keown Supply Company is the lowest and best bid and should -be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE .IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Keown Supply Company in the amount of $5.45
with no:increase be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and t1 -
be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a six-month cont
December 9, 1976, and ending June 8, 1977, with the above-mE
for said reef oyster shell for the various City Departments.
