RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing 8,000 feet of 6" PVC
gravity sewer pipe and 5,000 feet of 8" PVC gravity sewer pipe for the
Water Utilities Department; and,
%T]EFEAS, East Texas Service Corporation submitted a -bid in the
amount of Fourteen Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty and No/100 ($14,960.00)
Dollars for said PVC gravity sewer pipe for the Water Utilities Department;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by East Eexas Service Corporation is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEALUV=:
THAT the bid of East Texas Service Corporation in the,amoant of $14,960.00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager be, and he is
hereby, authorized to execute a contract for said PVC gravity sewer pipe
for the Water Utilities Department.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
