R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received on November 5, 1976, for demolition
and removal of buildings on a portion of Blocks 4 and 6 of the Beaumont
Townsite Addition; and,
WHEREAS, John Boegner, Demolition and Excavation Contractor, sub-
mitted a bid in the amount of Thirty -Seven Thousand Six Hundred and N0/100
$37,600.00) Dollars for said demolition and removal of buildings on --a
portion of Blocks 4 and 6 of the Beaumont Townsite Addition; and,
MiEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by John Boegner, Demolition and Excavation Contractor, -is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT -RESOLVED BY THE.
CITY .COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAZXNT:
THAT the bid of John Boegner,_ Demolition and Excavation Contractor, in
the amount of $37,600.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract with John
Boegner, Demolition and Excavation Contractor, for - the.. demolition and re-
moval of buildings on a portion of Blocks 4 and 6 of the Beaumont Townsite
Addition.
