RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for furnishing
pit sand to City Departments; and,
WHEREAS, Jones Boys Sand & Clay Pit submitted a. bid in the amounts
stated below for said annual contract for furnishing pit sand to City
Departments;

at Vendor's Plant

WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Jones Boys Sand & Clay Pit is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF.BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Jones Boys Sand.& Clay Pit in the amounts stated above be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and. the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute a contract with Jones Boys Sand & Clay Pit for the pit.
