WHEREAS", bids were received for furnishing a service truck with
service body and a utility truck for the Beaumont Transit System;.and,
WHEREAS,"Beaumont Motor Company submitted a bid in the amount of
Twenty Thousand Fourteen and 54/100..($20,014.54). Dollars for the service
truck with service body and a utility truck for the Beaumont Transit System;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the -bid submitted
by Beaumont Motor Canpany is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, 'BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT'the bid of Beaumont Motor Company in the amount of $20,014.54 be ac-
cepted by the City of Beaumont, and,the appropriate City official is hereby
authorized to mak& payment for said service truck with service body and
utility truck for the Beaumont Transit System upon acceptable delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL .of the City of Beaumont this the
