RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing an annual maintenance
agreement on the Dover Electric Elevator located in the Police Department;
and,
WHEREAS, Dover Elevator Company submitted a bid in the amount of
One Hundred Fifty and No/100 ($150.00) Dollars per month, or One Thousand
Eight Hundred and No/100 ($1,800.00) Dollars per year for the said elevator
located in the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Dover Elevator Company is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'T'Y OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Dover Elevator Company in the amount of $150.00 per month, or
$1,800.00 per year, be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager
is hereby authorized to execute an annual maintenance agreement with the
above-mentioned company for the maintenance of the Dover electric elevator
located in the Police Department building.
