R E S O L U T -I O N
WHEREAS, a contract was awarded to C & S Truck Line, Inc. and E.
R. Dupuis Concrete Ccopany, Inc., a joint venture, for the construction
of Lavaca. Street CIP Project 11 -ST -121; and,
WHEREAS, construction on this project has been completed with the
exception of a 100 foot long section of pavement that cannot be completed
until Southern Pacific installs a wooden plank crossing at that location;

WHEREAS, the delay in the completion of this project has not been
caused by the contractor and Forty -Seven Thousand Six Hundred Forty -Five
and 56/100 ($47;645.56) Dollars is presently due and payable to the con-
tractor for the completed portion of Lavaca Street that has been in-
spected by the Engineering Division and found to be constructed in accor-
dance with the plans and specifications;
t NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the appropriate City official be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay
to C & S Truck Line, Inc. and E. R. Dupuis Concrete Company, Inc., a joint
venture, the amount of $47,645.56 for the completed portion of Lavaca. Street
CIP Project 11 -ST -121. j
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1976.
