WHEREAS, .bids were received for furnishing batteries on contract
for various vehicles for the Fleet Maintenance Department; and,
WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Battery Sales submitted a bid in the
amount of Eleven Thousand Two Hundred Nine and 66/100 ($11,209.66) Dollars
for an annual contract .for batteries for various vehicles for the Fleet
Maintenance Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sul�nitted
by Golden Triangle Battery Sales is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THMZEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Golden Triangle Battery Sales in the amount of $11,209.66
be accepted by the -City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute an annual contract with Golden:Triangle Battery Sales
for batteries for various vehicles in the Fleet Maintenance Department.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1976.
