RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the purchase of one (1)
Oil Containment Boom; and,
WHEREAS, Acme Products Company submitted a bid in the amount of
One Thousand Five Hundred Ninety and 10/100 ($1,590.10). Dollars for
the Oil Containment Boom; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Acme Products Company is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Acme Products Company in the amount of $1,590.10 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said Oil Containment Boom upon
acceptable delivery.
