WHEREAS, Governor Dolph Briscoe, based on the recommendations
of the Criminal Justice Division Advisory Board, has awarded the
City of Beaumont a grant in the amount of Ninety -Nine Thousand Eight
Hundred Ninety -Nine and No/100 ($99,899.00) Dollars for the imple-
mentation of an automated records systems; and,
WHEREAS, this grant award must be formally accepted by executing
an acceptance agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute an
acceptance agreement necessary to receive this grant award.
