RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the Fourth Street Project fiom
Washington Boulevard to College Street; and,
WHEREAS, Gatlin Asphalt Company submitted a bid in the amount
of Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Six Hundred Eleven and 50/100 ($280,611.50)
Dollars for said Fourth Street Project frammWashington Boulevard to
College Street; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Gatlin Asphalt Company is the lowest and best bid and should be ac-
cepted;
-NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED -BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Gatlin Asphalt Company in the amount of $280,611.50 for
the Fourth Street'Project from Washington Boulevard to College Street
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official
is hereby authorized to make payment upon successful completion of said
project.
