WHEREAS, it is deemed by the City Council to be in the
best interest of the citizens of The City of Beaumont to build
a boat ramp at the end of Pine Street with funding from the Parks
and Wildlife Department of the State of Texas; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the end of Pine Street, for a distance of one hundred eighty-
five (185°) feet from the high water edge of the Neches River, is
hereby designated a public boat ramp and may be leased to the State
of Texas for said purposes, together with such additional property
as may be acquired by The City of Beaumont for a boat ramp parking
area adjacent thereto.
