RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, on February 2, 1975, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did file
with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the
amount of $55.00, including costs of recording, covering Lot 17, Block 1,
Audubon Park Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas,
which said lien is recorded in the M & L Records of said County.in Volume
1555 at Page 196; and,
WHEREAS, on March 24, 1976,. the City of Beaumont, Texas, did file
with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the
amount of $55.00,. including costs of recording, covering Lot 5, Block 2,
Gentz Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which
said lien is recorded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1614
at Page 17; and,
WHEREAS, on March 24, 1976, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did file
with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the
amount of $55.00, including costs of recording, covering Lot 26, Block 32,
Gulf Terrace Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas,
which said lien is recorded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume
1614 at Page 9; and,
WHEREAS, on October 29, 1971,.the City of Beaumont, Texas, did file
with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the
amount of $15.00, including costs of recording, covering Lot 9, Block 4,
Parkdale Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which
said lien is recorded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1408
at Page 444; and,
WHEREAS, Jasper Lovoi, Jr., Iola Carter, Nellie G. Geelan and Gus
Chevalier, respectively, are the owners of said above properties and desire
to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by said lien and have
same released to them;
THAT Ken Ritter, Mayor, be and he is hereby, authorized to execute and
deliver to the said above-mentioned persons a release of.the above-des-
cribed liens for and in consideration of the sums aforementioned, receipt
of which is hereby acknowledged, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized
to attest to same and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont -thereto.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
