RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing reef oyster shell
contracts for all City Departments; and,
WHEREAS, Keown Supply Company submitted a bid in the amount of
$5.50 per cubic yard for the six months period June 9, 1976 through
December 8, 1976, for reef oyster shell contracts for all City Departments;
and,
WfFREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Keown Supply Company is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Keown Supply Company in the amount of $5.50 per cubic
yard for the six months period June 9, 1976 through December 8, 1976, be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said reef oyster shell'.contracts.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
