RESOLUTION
WIMREAS,informal bids were received for furnishing one (1)
7-1/2 HP Air Compressor for the Fleet Department; and,
WHEREAS, Hewitt Pump, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of One
Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty -Nine and N0%100 ($1,889.00) Dollars to
be provided from Capital Account (98-509); and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Hewitt Pump, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: %
THAT the bid of Hewitt Pump, Inc. in the amount of $1,889.00 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is hereby
authorized to make payment for said 7-1/2 HP Air Compressor upon ac-
ceptable delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
