RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, informal bids were received for furnishing an assortment
of brass ells, nipples, and couplings for the Water Department; and,
WHEREAS, Drago Supply Company of Port Arthur, Texas, submitted
a bid in the amount of One Thousand Three Hundred Fifty -Seven and No/100
($1,357.00) Dollars to be purchased on Account No. 82-1300 for the brass
ells, nipples and couplings for -the Water Department; and,.
WHEREAS, the City Council is of .the opinion that the bid submitted
by Drago Supply Company is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUNONT:
THAT the bid of Drago Supply Company in the amount of $1,357.00 be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is hereby
authorized.to make payment for said assortment of brass ells, nipples, and
couplings upon acceptable delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
