RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing both Fire Department
and Work Uniforms for the City; and,
WHEREAS, Kaufman, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of Eleven
Thousand Seventy and 12/300 ($11,070.12) Dollars for the Fire Department
Uniforms, Alasco submitted a bid in the amount of Fifteen Thousand Seven
Hundred Sixty -Nine and No/100 ($15,769.00) Dollars for Work and Super-
visors Uniforms (shirts, jackets and jumpsuits), and Factory Sales
Company submitted a bid in the amount of Twelve Thousand One Hundred
Fifty -Eight and 35/100 ($12,158.35) Dollars for pants; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids submitted
by Kaufman, Inc., Alasco and Factory Sales Company are the lowest and
best bids meeting specifications and should be accepted;,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Kaufman, Inc. in the amount of $11,070.12, Alasco in the
amount of $15,769.00 and Factory Sales Company in the amount of $12,158.35
be, and the same are hereby, accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the
appropriate City official is hereby authorized to make payment for said
Fire Department and Work Uniforms for the City upon acceptable delivery.
