RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for the cleaning and painting of the
exterior of the 1.5 M. G. elevated water storage tank located at 3705
East Lucas Street; and,
WHEREAS, Southwest Industrial Coating, Inc. submitted a bid in
the amount of Eighteen Thousand Four Hundred Forty -Two and No/100
($18,442.00) Dollars for the cleaning and painting of the exterior of
the 1.5 M. G. elevated water storage tank located at 3705 East Lucas
Street; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Southwest Industrial Coating, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Southwest Industrial Coating, Inc. in the amount of
$18,442.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City
official is hereby authorized to make payment for said cleaning and
painting of the exterior of the 1.5 M. G. elevated water storage tank.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1976.
