RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing a contract for liquid
chlorine for use in both the Water Production and Water Reclamation
Departments; and,
Wf]EREAS, Jones Chemicals, Inc. submitted a bid inthe amount of
Two Hundred Twenty -Two and 60/100 ($222.60) Dollars per ton for the
liquid chlorine for the Water Production and Water Reclamation Depart-
ments; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Jones Chemicals, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Jones Chemicals, Inc.. in .the amount of $222.60 per ton
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and.the appropriate City official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said liquid chlorine upon ac-
ceptable delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1976.
