WHEREAS, on March 24, 1976, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did file with
the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the amount of
$55.00, including costs of recording, covering Lot 11, Block 33, Arlington
Addition to the City of Beaumont; Jefferson County, Texas, which said lien is
recorded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1614 at Page 37; and,
WHEREAS, on March 24, 1976, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did file
with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the amount
of $55.00, including costs of recording, covering Lot 30, Block A, Wilcox Ad-
dition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said lien is
recorded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1614 at Page 18; and,
WHEREAS, on May 31, 1973, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did file with
the County Clerk of Jefferson County,�Texas, certain lien in the amount of
$20.71, including costs of recording, covering Plat D-9, Tract 1, J. Drake
Survey to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said lien is
recorded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1483 at Page 286; and,
WHEREAS, Robert and Jeanette Archer, Merle A. Knox, and Samual-Levine,
Jr. are the owners of said above properties and desire to pay to the City of
Beaumont the monies represented by said lien and have same released to them;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Keri Ritter, Mayor, be and he is hereby, authorized to execute and deliver
to the. said above-mentioned persons a release of the above-described liens for
and.in consideration of the sums aforementioned, receipt of which is hereby ac-
knowledged, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to
affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
