WHEREAS, May 18, 1973, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did file with
the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the amount of
$13.66, including costs of recording, covering Lot 245, Block 44, Beaumont
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said lien
is recorded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1481 at Page 428; and,
WHEREAS on October 3, 1973, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did file
with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the amount
of $29.94, including costs of recording, covering Lots 245 and 246, Block 44,
Beaumont Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which
said lien is recorded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1500 at
Page 307; and,
WHEREAS, on November 4, 1974, the City of Beaumont, Texas did file
with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas certain lien in the amount
of $110.00, including costs of recording, covering Lots 245 and 246, Block 44,
Beaumont Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said
lien is recorded_.in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1546 at Page .484;
and,
WHEREAS, on February 26, 1975, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did file
with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain lien in the amount
of $55.00, including costs of recording, covering Lot 7, Block 4, Picadilly
Park Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said lien
is recorded in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1557 at Page 272; and,
WHEREAS, Avis Bryan and James D. Young, respectively, are the owners
of said above properties and desire to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies
represented by said lien and have same released to them;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Ken Ritter, Mayor, be and he is hereby, authorized to execute and deliver
to the said above-mentioned persons a release of the above-described liens for
and in consideration of the sums aforementioned, receipt of which is hereby ac-
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the �
