R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of three (3)
one -ton dual wheel and cab flat beds for use inthe Water Department; and,
WHEREAS, GMC Dixie submitted a bid in the amount of Fifteen
Thousand Five Hundred Eighty -Two and No/100 ($151582.00) Dollars for the
three (3) one -ton dual wheel and cab flat beds for use in the Water De-
partment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by GMC Dixie is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of GMC Dixie in the amount of $15,582.00 be accepted by the
City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is hereby authorized
to make payment for said dual wheel and cab flat beds upon acceptable delivery.
