RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into an agreement
with the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation for the instal-
lation of railroadsignals at the Santa Fe Railroad on Fourth Street just north
of College Street in the City of Beaumont, Texas. Appropriate City officials
are hereby authorized to pay the City's share of the cost of construction of
these railroad signals in an amount equal to 5 percent of the total cost of said
constructio4 which amount is estimated to be One Thousand Three Hundred and
No/100 ($1,300.00) Dollars. This expenditure is directed to be charged to 1974
CAP Project Account No. 071-74-102.
