RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received on February 4, 1976, for construction
of the Transit Maintenance/Administration Facilities of the City of
Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, a bid of Nine Hundred Seventy -Two Thousand Ninety and
No/100 ($972,090.00) Dollars was submitted by Daniels Construction Company;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that this bid is the
lowest bid by a responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City"Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a contract
with Daniels Construction Company in the amount of $972,090.00 for the
construction of the Transit Maintenance/Administration Facility for the
City of Beaumont.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Beaumont is hereby authorized to attest to said contract.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
