BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be and he is hereby, authorized to retain
Jefferson County Title Company. to submit title opinions and to
write title policies, at State regulated fees, for the acquisition
of three easements for drainage -outfall for the Dowlen Road Project;
and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and he is
hereby, authorized to retain Mr. M. L. Lefler, Jr., to appraise the
easements to be acquired for the above-mentioned drainage outfall for
the Dowlen Road Project,._and that authorization be retained for the
payment to Mr. M. L. Lefler, Jr. in an amount not to exceed EIGHT
HUNDRED AND N0/100 ($800.00) DOLLARS; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be authorized to
acquire the easements in the name of Drainage District No. 6, or if
said easements are acquired in the name of the City, it is resolved
that said easements shall be conveyed to said drainage district as
soon as conveniently possible.
