W]EREAS, on May 18, 1973, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did file
with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed lien in
the amount of $16.79, including costs of recording, covering the West 50
feet of Lot 20, Block 32, Gulf Terrace Addition to the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, which said lien is recorded in the M & L Records
of said County in Volume 1446, Page 8; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Walter Fehner is the owner of said above property and
desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by said
weed lien and have same released to him; and,
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Ken Ritter, Mayor, be and -.he is hereby authorized, to execute and
deliver to the said Mr. Walter Fehner a release of the above-described weed
lien for and in consideration of the sum aforementioned, receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, and the City'Clerk is hereby authorized to attest
to same and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
