RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing 10,000' of 6" and
4,000' of 8" asbestos -cement pipe for the Water Department;. and,
WHEREAS, Municipal Pipe and Fabricating Company submitted a
bid in the amount of Twenty -Eight Thousand Three Hundred Sixty and Nc/100
($28,360.00) Dollars for the asbestos -cement pipe for the Water Depart-
ment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Municipal Pipe and Fabricating Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Municipal Pipe and Fabricating Company in the amount of
$28,360.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City
official is hereby authorized to make payment for said asbestos -cement
pipe upon acceptable delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
