WHEREAS, informal bids were received for furnishing three (3)
portable walkie-talkie units for the Fire Department; and,
%1HUZEAS, Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc. submitted
a bid in the amount of One Thousand Five Hundred Ninety and 30/100
($1,590.30) Dollars for the three (3) portable walkie-talkie units for
the Fire- Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc. is the lowest,.and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW,_THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc. in the
amount.of $1,590.30 be accepted by the City,of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City official is hereby authorized to make payment for said portable
walkie-talkies upon acceptable delivery.
