RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing one (1) 65' aerial
bucket truck for the Traffic and Transportation Department; and,
WHEREAS, Utility Equipment Company International, Inc. submitted
a bid in the amount of Forty -Two Thousand Two Hundred Ninety -Nine and
32/100 ($42,299.32) Dollars for the 65' aerial bucket truck for the
Traffic and Transportation Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Utility Equipment Company International, Inc. is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Utility Equipment Company International, Inc. in the
amount of $42,299.32 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the ap-
propriate City official is hereby authorized to make payment for said
aerial bucket truck upon acceptable delivery.
