WHEREAS, the City was heretofore authorized to enter into an
agreement with Southern Pacific Transportation Company and did enter
into said agreement for the construction of an improved plank railroad
crossing of Wooten Road at an estimated construction cost of Thirty -
Four Thousand Nine Hundred Forty and No/100 ($34,940.00) Dollars; and,
WHEREAS, this work has been completed by the Southern Pacific
Transportation Company at an actual cost of Thirty-riWo Thousand Four
Hundred TWenty-One and 32/100 ($32,421.32) Dollars; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to reimburse Southern Pacific
Transportation Company for this cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the appropriate City official be, and he is hereby, authorized to
pay to Southern Pacific Transportation Company the amount of $32,421.32
as the actual cost for construction of an improved plank railroad crossing
in the Wooten Road Project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of. 1976.
