RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation
passed Minute Order No. 70929 on January 22, 1976, authorizing the transfer
of urban systems funds from the Riverfront Boulevard -Project (Main Street)
to the Dowlen Road Project; and,
WHEREAS, said Minute Order provided that it would become operative
upon acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, such Minute Order provided further that it would be auto-
matically cancelled if not accepted by the City of Beaumont within ninety
(90) days from its date; and,
MMREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that it is to the best
interest of the City to accept said Minute Order;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEALTUNT:
THAT Minute Order No. 70929 passed on January 22, 1976, by the State Department
of Highways and Public Transportation be, and the same is hereby, accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
