RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing one (1) 24,000 GVW cab
and chassis truck for use in the Solid Waste Department; and,
WHEREAS, Kinsel Ford, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty -Two and 55/100 ($8,782.55) Dollars for
the one 24,000 GVW cab and chassis truck for use in the Solid Waste De-
partment; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Kinsel Ford, Inc. is the lowest and best bid received to meet specifications
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Kinsel Ford, Inc. in the amount of $8782.55 be accepted by
the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is hereby authorized
to make payment for said cab and chassis truck upon proper delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 1
day of 1976.
