RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing an annual contract for
the removal of junked and abandoned motor vehicles for the City; and,
WHEREAS, Aldridge and Sons Auto Salvage submitted a bid in the
amount of Twenty and 57/100 ($20.57) Dollars per vehicle for the annual
contract for the removal of junked and abandoned motor vehicles for the
City; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Aldridge and Sons Auto Salvage is the highest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: -
THAT the bid of Aldridge and Sons Auto Salvage in the amount of $20.57 per
vehicle be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official
is hereby authorized to execute said contract.
