RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing annual contracts for Type
B Aggregate, grades 2 and 4 and limestone base material for City Departments;
and,
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing six -months' contracts for
cold mix asphalts and liquid asphalts for use in City departments; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the following bids
and prices are the lowest and best bids and should be accepted:
Davidson Construction Materials, Inc.
Grade 2, Type B Aggregate
Grade 4, Type B Aggregate
Keown Supply Company
Limestone Base Material
White's Mines
$2.10/ton
+ 5% increase maximum, annual

+ 0% increase maximum, annual

Types A, B & C Cold Mix - $6.00/ton
+-10% increase maximum, annual

MC2 - $0.40/gal.
+ 50%-. increase maximum, six -months' contract
Dixie Materials, Inc.
RC2 - $78.75/ton ($0.309/gal.)
+ 10% increase maximum, six -months' contract
MC30 - $80.60/ton ($0.31/gal.)
+ 10% increase maximum, six -months' contract
AC5 - $62.50/ton ($0.262/gal.)
+ 10% increase maximum, six -months' contract
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMNT:
THAT the above bids and prices be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the ap-
propriate City official is hereby authorized to execute both an annual and six -
months' contract with said bidders for the materials as set out hereinabove.
