RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, only one bid was received for furnishing one (1) portable
stairway scaffold for use in the Library; and,
WHEREAS, Patent Scaffolding Company submitted a bid in the amount
of One Thousand Four Hundred Ninety Five and 30/100 ($1,495.30) Dollars for
the one (1) portable stairway scaffold for use in the Library; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Patent Scaffolding Company is the only bid received and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Patent Scaffolding Company in the amount of $1,495.30 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said portable stairway scaffold upon
proper installation.
