RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing one (1) Portable Wood
Chipper for the Parks Department and the Traffic Department; and,
WHEREAS, Utility Equipment Company International, Inc. submitted a
bid in the amount of Five Thousand Six Hundred Eighty -Six and 35/100
($5,686.35) Dollars for the one Portable Wood Chipper for.the Parks De-
partment and the Traffic Department; and,
W]EREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bidsubmitted
by Utility Equipment Company International, Inc. is the lowest and best
bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Utility Equipment Company International, Inc. in the
amount of $5,686.35 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City official is hereby authorized to make payment for said Portable Wood
Chipper upon acceptable delivery.
