WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing two (2) tractor mowers
for the Parks Department; and,
WHEREAS, Michel Machinery Corporation submitted a bid in the amount
of Seventeen Thousand Three Hundred Ninety and No/100 ($17,390.00) Dollars
for the two tractor mowers for the Parks Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by Michel Machinery Corporation is the lowest and best bid meeting specifi-
cations and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Michel Machinery Corporation submitted in the amount
of $17,390.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City
official is hereby authorized to make payment for said tractor mowers upon
acceptable delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1976.
