WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and Daniels' Construction Company
entered into a certain agreement to furnish all labor, superintendence,
material and equipment to perform all work necessary to the construction
of the Sports Service Center, Concession and Scoring Buildings on the Athletic
Complex; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 to said contract has been proposed,
under which said change order concrete shall be substituted for the asphalt
paving around concession and grandstand areas; and,
WHEREAS, there will be no change in the contract price as a result
of this change order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on behalf
of the City of Beaumont the above described change order to the original con-
tract, and that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to
affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
