RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing one (1) 1250 GPM
Pumper Truck for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, American LaFrance submitted a bid in the amount of Sixty -
Six Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy -Four and No/100 ($66,974.00) Dollars for
the one 1250 GPM Pumper Truck for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted
by American LaFrance is the lowest and best bid meeting specifications and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMDNT:
THAT the bid of American LaFrance in the amount of $66,974.00 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official is hereby
authorized to make payment for said 1250 GPM Pumper Truck upon acceptable
delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
