R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS,' on October 3, 1973, the.City of Beaumont, Texas,
did file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain
weed lien in the amount of $19.34, including costs of recording,
covering Part of Plot B,.Tract 28, N. Tevis Survey to the City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in
the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1500, Page 295; and,
WHEREAS,_Charles R. Wallace is the owner of said above pro-
perty and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont.the monies represen-
ted by said weed lien and have same released to him; and,
WHEREAS, on August 25, 1970, the City of Beaumont, Texas,
did file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain
weed lien in the amount of $15.00, including costs of recording,
covering Lot 40, Block C, Tyrrell Park Addition to the City of Beau-
mont, Jefferson County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, W. F. Zoch is the owner of said above property and
desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by said
weed lien and have same released to him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Ken Ritter, Mayor, be and he is hereby, authorized to execute and
deliver to the said Charles R. Wallace and W. F. Zoch a release of the
above-described weed liens for and in consideration of the sums afore-
mentioned, receipt of which are.hereby acknowledged, and the City
Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix the Seal of
the City of Beaumont thereto.
