R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont and J.C.N. Pavers, Inc. exe-
cuted a certain contract on the 12 day of September, 1974, for the
construction of Florida Avenue CIP Project No. 11 -ST -08, at a total
contract price of $681,160.50; and,
WHEREAS, after an addition with two supplemental agreements,.
and after completion of this project, the total contract cost came to
the amount of $693,181.65; and,
WHEREAS, $71,209.29 remains unpaid on said contract based on
actual work performed; and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected the work and has
recommended its acceptance and final payment in the amount of
$71,209.29 to.be made to the contractor based on actual work performed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City of Beaumont hereby accepts the completion of the afore-
said contract in all particulars and does further authorize the final
payment of $71,209.29 to the said contractor.
