R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, informal bids were received for the furnishing of
ten (10) 6" 900 bends and ten (10) 6".X 6" MJ tees for the inven-
tory stock account of the Water Department; and,
WHEREAS, Municipal Supply Company submitted an informal bid
in the amount of One Thousand One Hundred One and 40/100 ($1,101.40)
Dollars for the ten (10) 900 bends and ten (10) 6" X 6" MJ tees for
the inventory stock account of the Water Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Municipal Supply Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Municipal Supply Company in the amount of $1,101.40
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and .the appropriate City offi-
cial is hereby authorized to make payment for said bends and tees
upon acceptable delivery.
