R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS., informal bids were received for the.furnishing of
1,000 3/4" male couplings for the inventory stock account of the
Water Department; and,
WHEREAS, Mabry Foundry & Supply Company submitted a bid in
the amount of One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety and No/100 ($1,690.00)
Dollars for the 1,000 3/4" male couplings for the inventory stock
account of the Water Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Mabry Foundry & Supply Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the informal bid of Mabry Foundry & Supply Company in the amount
of $1,690.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate
City official is hereby authorized to make payment for said 1,000 3/4"
male couplings for the inventory stock ac"count of the Water Department
upon acceptable delivery.
