WHEREAS, on January 11, 1974, the City of Beaumont, Texas,
did file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain
weed lien in the amount of $55.00, including costs of recording,
hovering Lots 18 & 19, Block 9, Booker Heights Addition to the City
bf BEaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens are recorded
in the M & L Records of said County in Volume 1530, Page 263; and,
WHEREAS, Eula Bourg is the owner of said above property and
desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by said=
weed lien and have same released to her; and,
WHEREAS, on September 27, 1974, the City of Beaumont, Texas,
did file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain
weed lien in the amount of $55.00, including costs of recording,
covering Lot 13, Block 2, Calder Addition to the City of. Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L
Records of said County in Volume 1543, Page 24; and,
WHEREAS, Antonio Flores is the owner of said above property
and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by
said weed lien and have same released to him; and,
WHEREAS, on March 10, 1972, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of $10.00, including costs of recording, covering
Lot 13, Block 2, Calder Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L Records of
said County in Volume 1423, Page 484; and,
WHEREAS, Antonio Flores is the owner of said above property
and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by
said weed lien and have same released to -him; and,
WHEREAS, on May 31, 1973, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of $13.75, including costs of recording, covering
ri
County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L Records of
said County in Volume 1483, Page 300; and,
WHEREAS, on May 31, 1973, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of $23.03, including costs of recording, covering
Lots 18 & 19, Block 9, Booker Heights Addition to the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L
Records of said County in Volume 1483, Page 244; and,
WHEREAS, Hilton Bromon is the owner of said above property
and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by
said weed lien and have same released to him; and,
WHEREAS, on August 18, 1972, the City of Beaumont, Texas, did
file with the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas, certain weed
lien in the amount of $16.85, including costs of recording, covering
Lots 18 & 19, Block 9, Booker Heights Addition to the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, which said liens are recorded in the M & L
Records of said County in Volume 1446, Page 12; and.,
WHEREAS, Hilton Bromon is the owner of said above property
and desires to pay to the City of Beaumont the monies represented by
said weed lien and have same released to him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Ken Ritter, Mayor, be and he is hereby, authorized to execute and
deliver to the said Eula Bourg, Antonio Flores, and Hilton Bromon a re-
lease of the above-described weed liens for and in consideration of
the sums aforementioned, receipt of which are hereby acknowledged, and
the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to same and to affix the
Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
