R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of an annual
contract for 1-1/2" and 2" water meters for the Water Department for
the period beginning January 6, 1976 through January 5, 1977; and,
WHEREAS, Rockwell International submitted a bid for furnish-
ing such 1-1/2" and 2" water meters for the Water Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by Rockwell International is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Rockwell International be accepted and the City Manager
be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute on behalf of the City of
Beaumont, a contract with Rockwell International for furnishing 1-1/2"
and 2" water meters for the Water Department for the period beginning
January 6, 1976 through January 5,1977, at the unit prices as speci-
fied in their bid; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest
to said contract and to affix the Seal of the City of Beaumont thereto.
