WHEREAS, only one bid was received for the furnishing of
one (1) suburban van for the Fleet Department; and,
WHEREAS, GMC Dixie Trucks, Inc. submitted this bid in the
amount of Five Thousand Seven Hundred Thirteen and No/100 ($5,713.00)
Dollars for the suburban van for the Fleet Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by GMC Dixie Trucks, Inc. is the only bid received and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of GMC Dixie Trucks, Inc. in the amount of $5,713.00
be accepted by.the City of Beaumont,.and the appropriate City official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said suburban van upon accep-
table delivery.
