R E' S.O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for.the furnishing of fifty-
four (54) various -sized garbage containers for the Solid Waste
Department; and,
WHEREAS; McClain Industries, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of Sixteen Thousand Two Hundred Twenty -Three and 76/100
($16,223.76) Dollars for the garbage containers for the Solid Waste
Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by McClain Industries, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of McClain Iridustries, Inc. in the amount of $16,223.76
be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the appropriate City official
is hereby authorized to make payment for said garbage containers upon
acceptable delivery.
