R E S O L U T I O N

WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of twenty-
five (25) fire hydrants for stock inventory for the Water Department;
and,
WHEREAS, American Darling Valve & Manufacturing Company, Inc.
submitted a bid in the amount of Six Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty -
One and 75/100 ($6,731.75) Dollars for the fire hydrants for the Water
Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid sub-
mitted by American Darling Valve & Manufacturing Company, Inc. is the
lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of American Darling Valve & Manufacturing Company, Inc.
in the amount of $6,731.75 be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and
the appropriate City official is hereby authorized to make payment for
said fire hydrants upon acceptable delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
